Underlying data

The Census, BLS, IRS, FBI, HUD and NOAA datasets we surface are public-domain U.S. government works and are not subject to copyright. Our editorial commentary, data presentation, page layouts, code, and brand are not — see "Intellectual property" below.

Intellectual property

The City Zip Compare name, logo, design system, written articles, narrative templates, and source code are © City Zip Compare. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back to the original page. You may not republish full articles, copy our editorial templates, or use our brand in a way that implies endorsement.

No warranty

City Zip Compare is provided "as is." We make a serious effort to publish accurate data, but we cannot guarantee that every figure is current, complete, or free of error. Always verify against the primary source for high-stakes decisions (lending, legal, investment, public policy).
